The Female Orgasm. Just the words alone engage our imagination and ignite our curiosity about a subject long shrouded in mystery, confusion, ignorance and perhaps for some, guilt. Orgasm is one the most desirable and deeply gratifying moments of pleasure that a woman and her loving partner can share together ,or that a woman alone can experience through self-pleasure. Don't we all want to feel the earth move, to experience the sweet agony, to let go completely, to see stars…. to unravel the mystery of the orgasm for ourselves and learn about the bliss that can unfold from within on every level? Don't we all want to understand better how to reach an orgasmic state, and then be able to share that knowledge with those we care about, to deepen the experience and to shed light on this extraordinary event?
Countless self-help guides and books on sexuality and female orgasm have been written by professionals and authors from the worlds of academia and medicine, in an attempt to demystify and explain in clinical terms exactly where and how and why an orgasm occurs. The text is generally accompanied by drawings of the female anatomy and genitalia as a guide and roadmap. The fact that there are so many self help guides and factual books on the market today ,seems to indicate that the information is far from adequate in terms of answering the questions. More importantly, they are inadequate in providing the type of information needed to help one understand and ultimately reach the desired goal-that of achieving an orgasm.
Our mission and goal is to create a resource of knowledge, information and inspiration gleaned not from textbooks or self-help guides, but from a common sharing of personal experiences. This compilation will be written by those who are willing to be gracious and generous with their own stories of personal experimentations, explorations, discoveries and journeys towards sexual fulfillment. These stories and letters will be written by women who are fortunate enough to experience orgasms on a regular basis, and who want to share their personal knowledge, expertise, insights and secrets with those who are searching for motivation , or perhaps struggling with their journey. They will be written by women who believe in the revolutionary concept that pleasure is good, and that we are all worthy of experiencing it in our lives, by women who want to help others to understand that orgasm is a natural occurrence, and that whether it comes from masturbation, oral sex or any other means, that it can be of many levels of intensity. They will be written by women who believe that an orgasm may or may not be the “natural” conclusion to every sexual encounter ,and by those who may disagree with the thought that without them ,we aren’t really having sex at all. They may be written by women who want to share their struggles, or by women who want to share the writings with their partners, to help them better understand the journey and the desired goal.

We are collecting 1001 self authored works by women from all around the world, dealing with the topic of orgasm. Once these works have been gathered, they will be published in a book entitled, "One Thousand And One Ways". The writings should offer the reader clear insight and perspectives on the subject of female orgasm. It should help to free the mind, body and soul of those who read it and be encouraging and motivating to the reader.
The privacy of each writer will be respected. Each work will be reviewed and edited. The final draft will be approved by both the writer and editor. Once the final draft has been approved and added, no changes will be made. Writers are encouraged to use a nom de plume/pen name and a non identifying email address to communicate with us.
This is an adult topic and will be treated in that manner. We will not include vulgar or crass language unless it is deemed to be necessary for a specific purpose.
